ADC-5 Ends With Flourish...

(See Exclusive Pictures... Testimony Galore)

To the glory of God, we wrapped up the fifth season of the Advanced Clinic on Language Use and Writing on Saturday, April 6, 2019. The weekend-only specialist training began four weeks earlier on March 16.
The Clinic had as faculty the founding Coach, Femi Akintunde-Johnson (FAJ); ace broadcaster, Tokunbo Ojekunle; and veteran editor and top PR practitioner, Muyiwa Akintunde.

The flourish at the end of training (see pictures) was enhanced by the presentation of graded certificates to deserving trainees, after rigorous process of teaching, motivating, evaluating, monitoring aptitudes and grasp. Though some were unable to complete the course, for diverse reasons), the "vast majority" of participants left their impressions and testimonies, for others coming behind to feast on, and be inspired.
Here are excerpts of such from some of the 5th ADC graduands... Enjoy!

TESTIMONIES

Tunde Oyelami

Evaluating the three weeks or sessions we have had so far, I make bold to say I am not leaving the same way I came. There is definitely a significant improvement in my understanding of the use of English which is like the foundation upon which the entire structure of the programme is laid.

Being a participant in the Advanced Clinic Class is an experience that I can never forget in a hurry...  I initially felt that the snap tests and assignments were not necessary, but later realised that the coach has a lot to share with us.

The Advanced Clinic opened my mind to public speaking and proper English grammar usage.

The Coach, Mr. Femi Akintunde Johnson is well-versed in his field, as evident in his lectures and interactions that occur therein...
The Coach is assisted by other facilitators which allows me to draw knowledge from different intellectuals in the field...
During the short but intensive lectures organised by the Clinic, I learnt a lot, especially how what my write-up and spoken English say about me to the reader or my audience. I am now more careful, though not yet excellent, when drafting or speaking....
